Education can be an effective tool in raising public awareness and promoting support for nature conservation. The Little Green Guards^® is LVDI International‘s flagship conservation education program aimed at increasing children’s understanding of wildlife, resulting in their better stewardship of the natural world around them. We created the program especially for underserved children living near conservation priority areas. Through custom curricula and extracurricular activities, we help boost the children’s academic abilities while strengthening their connection with nature. Ultimately, the Little Green Guards^® program helps foster positive attitudes and behaviors in the participating children toward their native wildlife treasures. To date, our program and educational materials have reached over a million children worldwide.
